The ACS10 features a caching music server with a CD ripper, content storage, library management, and meta-tag editor. It can be used as a companion to your existing Aurender Music Server or as a music server/streamer when connected to a USB DAC via the USB output. Available in two different terabyte sizes, the ACS10 can be purchased with 16TB of storage or 24TB of storage. Dragon Cable Recommendation: We recommend pairing the Aurender ACS10 Music Server/CD Ripper with our Black Dragon Power Cable, Silver Dragon Network Cable, and Silver Dragon USB Cable (USB A to C). The Silver Dragon Network Cable will provide a stable ethernet connection to the Aurender ACS10 for music streaming and data transmission. The Black Dragon Power Cable is the ultimate power cable designed to be dead quiet and reject all EMI and RFI interference. 4-11Awg Stranded high-purity slow-drawn Copper conductors are used per cable in a star Quad configuration. The cable has a single 100% coverage shield but can be doubled up for noisy environments plus it is relatively flexible.

Say goodbye to CD ripping on your PC with a high-quality TEAC CD-ROM drive that rips all your CDs with sophisticated error detection and correction for great-sounding results. The Aurender ACS10 features Aurender's CD ripping engine that creates the best-sounding files from your favorite CDs in your choice of FLAC, WAV, or AIFF codecs, as well as support for Nimbie Autoloader for unattended ripping of up to 100 CDs. Metadata is automatically retrieved and the album cover art and other metadata can be viewed on the front panel display.
The ACS10 is available in two different dual hard drive configurations to provide enough storage for even the largest digital music libraries. 16TB or 24TB versions are factory-configured in RAID1 mirroring meaning your actual music library storage capacity is half that, with the other half a mirrored image on a second drive. ACS10 can be user reconfigured to disregard mirroring and provide 16TB or 24TB total storage respective of the model. The ACS10 is a Roon Ready and Roon Tested device that can operate as a Roon endpoint, and also supports Tidal, Qobuz, and Spotify Connect.
Designed to Impress
Given its functionality, the Aurender ACS10 is a decently-sized unit equipped with a 4" IPS LCD display screen and tray-loading CD drive on the front panel. The display provides an album art view when ripping CDs and displays all system data on functions in use. Press the display menu button to cycle through various display options including song information, ripping menu, and playlist menu. In the ripping menu, other buttons on the front panel adopt different functions as indicated on the display screen. Playlists may be selected and played using the four buttons on the right side of the front panel display. Use the previous and next buttons to scroll between playlists. Use the play/pause button to select a playlist, and after the playlist is selected, press the play/pause button again to start playback. On the front panel, you'll also find a USB 2.0 data port that can connect the Nimbie audio loading CD ripper.
On the back panel, you'll find a dedicated proprietary USB Audio Class 2.0 audio output, USB 3.0 data port, double isolated gigabit ethernet port, two-gigabit ethernet ports, AC power switch, and AC power socket. There are no analog outputs on the ACS10, only digital outputs. One of three LAN Ports is 2X isolated – use this 2X isolated LAN port to connect to another Aurender server/player to isolate the server/player from any noise introduced by the LAN connection. If using ACS10 as a stand-alone server, use the 2X isolated LAN to connect directly to the router.
Limitless Functionality
The Aurender ACS10 is a highly capable all-in-one unit that can be configured to work seamlessly with many different audio components. Use it as a fully functional server and streamer delivering pristine digital output via an isolated USB 2.0 audio port. Or pair it with Aurender models A10, N10, or W20, where its CD ripping, library management, 2X isolated LAN port, and powerful processor will greatly enhance the Aurender experience. The ACS10 has support for high-resolution formats and all major codecs: PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit, Native DSD up to DSD512, and DSD (DoP) up to DSD256.
The ACS10's SmartMerge technology will identify a network attached (W20/N10/A10/N100H/N100C or X100L) and allow users to see content from both libraries combined in one. Meaning you can use the ACS10 as central library storage in addition to, or instead of, another Aurender music server's internal storage.
Get the most out of the ACS10's functionality with the ACS Manger Companion App, designed specifically for the unit. The app contains a Smart Tag Editor for modifying your audio files' metadata tags to your own specifications. A Copy / Move / Delete utility allows for easy transfer of music libraries from other network-attached devices and can also perform a scan for duplicate file removal. The Aurender Conductor App, available on iOS and Android devices (iPads, iPhones), can be used to control general settings on the ACS10. The app comes with extensive features to make browsing streaming services and playing high-resolution music collections a breeze. Optional MQA Core software is available through an in-app purchase using the Aurender Conductor App.

Will the ACS10 play CDs?
No. It the Aurender ACS10 was designed for bit-perfect ripping. We recommend to rip and playback file.
Will the ACS10 retrieve album cover art and other meta-tag data from the internet when ripping?
Yes. The process is automatic.
What meta-tag database does the ACS10 use?
It uses freeDB and MusicBrains. Google image search is employed as well.
I have an N10-8TB and I am running low on storage space. Can I use ACS10 to expand the storage capacity?
Yes. The N10’s 8TB storage capacity and ACS10 can be combined. For example, an N10-8TB can be combined with the 16TB ACS10 creating 24TB total content capacity.
I have two Aurender servers. What is the best way to use the ACS10? For example, I have an N100H-4TB and A10-4TB. If I connect an ACS10-16TB onto my network, can my content database be 4TB + 4TB + 16TB?
No. If you have more than one Aurender already, it’s best to copy all your content from both existing Aurenders onto the ACS10, making it a central storage library. You can use the SmartCollect program which is provided with ACS10 to find and merge all the content from multiple Aurenders opting out of file duplication. You will be able to view the combined content of the N100H-4TB and A10-4TB on the ACS10-16TB using the Aurender Conductor App. However, you will not be able to view the A10’s local content when Conductor App is connected to the N100H and vice-versa, you will not be able to view the N100H’s local content when the Conductor App is connected to the A10
