An evolution of the original Clear Professional model, the Clear MG Pro is a reliable tool for critical listening offering an accurate and detailed sound reproduction across the entire frequency response. 1 5/8" (40mm) full-range speaker drivers with M-shaped inverted domes sit at the heart of the Clear MG Pro with a new magnesium cone offering extreme precision, remarkable tonal balance, and excellent articulation throughout the sound spectrum. Built with long listening sessions in mind, the Clear MG Professional Headphones offer impressive comfort and durability, making them a staple for audio production tasks on consoles with various amplifiers.
In addition to high-performance technologies, Clear Mg Professional offers impressive comfort and a unique aesthetic signature . The curve of the headband, high-resilience memory foam earpads, evenly-distributed weight... Everything has been covered to allow you to forget you're wearing headphones at all. Exceptional Audio Performance for Discerning Professionals
The Clear MG Professional Headphones feature the same speaker drivers as the original Clear Professional headphones but with upgraded magnesium M-shaped inverted domes. After much research and development, Focal designed this magnesium dome new material to obtain an even more optimized combination of lightness, rigidity, and damping. Thanks to this new cone, combined with the frameless 1"-diameter and 1/4" high copper voice coil, the sound experience is made even more precise, delivering impressive detail across the full spectrum while preserving excellent tonal balance. The flexibility of the surround offers lightness, resulting in more dynamics and impact, particularly in the bass. The open grille inside the earcup extends the high frequencies and follows the ‘M’ profile of the cone more closely to further reduce adverse effects. With a 24 kHz break-up, the high frequencies are extremely linear and the transient signals are respected. The Clear MG Pro handles SPL exceptionally well, providing accurate mids and treble, and exhibiting excellent timbre across the spectrum. These characteristics enhance the Clear MG Pro's versatility for different listening environments and amp setups.
Comfort and Openness for Long Listening Sessions
The Focal Clear MG Pro circum-aural Headphones are designed for work comfort, as well as aesthetics. The intentionally designed microfiber headband displays a constant curve distributing the weight of the headphones evenly across your head. The solid aluminum yoke is covered with structured black paint for a sleek design and scratch resistance. The traditional vertically rotating mechanics have been moved within the headband for even greater comfort and an excellent seal, particularly beneath the ears to prevent any acoustic leakage, synonymous with significant bass loss. Consistent with most Focal high-end headphones, the honeycomb grille offers a sophisticated and elegant look while also providing more openings. This openness promotes the sensation of spatialization and improves the imaging of the soundstage. Finally, candy-apple red memory foam earpads complete the comfortable, open feel of the Clear MG Pro and round out its striking aesthetic. The compact carrying case is thermoformed to the shape of the headphones and has been woven in the same colors and two cables are included (16.5 ft. 6.35mm TRS jack, 3.94 ft. 3.5mm connector) as well as a 1/8” to 1/4” stereo jack adapter.
RUNNING-IN PERIOD

- If you want to speed up the process, we recommend playing very bassy music through them for at least 24 hours at a relatively high volume.
