FOR MEASUREMENT AND SOUND SYSTEMS
The M23 is the ideal choice for those who desire a high-quality reliable measurement microphone for room measurements and sound system setup. It will provide the same excellent polar accuracy as our higher-priced measurement microphones. The M23 provides a frequency response from 3Hz to 23kHz, and will handle 140dB SPL. In comparison, the M30 offers a frequency response from 3Hz to 30kHz. The M23 also has a shorter body length than the M30. The M23 requires standard 24-48V phantom power for operation.
The New Standard in Audio Measurement.
The M23 is a precision engineered 23kHz omnidirectional measurement microphone ideally suited for acoustical measurements including loudspeaker design and quality control, sound system setup and troubleshooting, room acoustics, or any application where an accurate free-field measurement microphone is required.
Unparalleled Audio Results at an Affordable Cost
A flat frequency response that extends from 3Hz to 23kHz, an exceptionally consistent omnidirectional polar response, 140dB SPL rating without distortion and no handling noise.
Consistent Measurements in Any Location
Immune to most temperature and atmospheric fluctuations, the M23 delivers reliable and repeatable results in any environment.
Precision With Your Favorite Measurement Software
The M23 works with any high-quality FFT-based real-time audio system measurement software, like SMAART™, SIM™, REW™, Electroacoustics Toolbox™, FuzzMeasure™ and others, as well as for use in PA system alignment and loudspeaker design.
Electronic Calibration File
Every M23 is individually hand-tuned and tested and is delivered with its own printed frequency response chart. An Electronic Calibration File (ECF) is generated for each microphone during final testing, and can be downloaded free of charge after product registration.
Professional products designed with professionals in mind
In audio, our perception of what feels real and natural is incredibly sensitive to resolution in the time domain. In particular, the level of detail present in the initial transient is responsible for much of our sense of content, meaning, and frequency balance. This includes defining attributes like “timbre”, “texture”, and “air”. Earthworks’ blazingly fast technology ensures that every performance sounds like life
