For the first time in Astell&Kern history, it features a built-in stand, adding a new level of convenience to your listening experience. Whether you're at home or on the go, the integrated stand ensures that your player is always easily accessible. Crafted from supple cow leather, this case not only looks exquisite but also feels luxurious to the touch. Embracing the natural characteristics of leather, such as wrinkles and grain, it exudes an air of timeless elegance. Additionally, the soft microfiber interior provides optimal protection for your device, safeguarding it against scratches and other damage. One of the most impressive features of the SP3000T case is its precision fit. Wrapping around the entire player, it offers superior protection without compromising on style. Not much to say, its made well and I love the built in kick stand.

I much prefer this case to the bright yellow bullhide texture of the case that comes with the SP3000T copper edition. It's 100% a style choice rather than functionality, but there's a nice supple tactile quality to the black calf they use for this version. It does not improve performance in any way, only my personal aesthetic enjoyment.
