This high-end CD/SACD Transport reads CD and SACD discs with extremely high precision and accuracy.
The Rossini CD/SACD Transport is designed to deliver great performance in rigidity, vibration resistance, and resonant-free operation. The master clock's performance is stable and near-silent which extracts impressive levels of detail from silver discs.
We recommend pairing the dCS Rossini Master Clock with the Silver Dragon Coax Digital Cable with Furutech BNC Connectors, as well as powering the unit with the Black Dragon Power Cable. The Silver Dragon Coax Digital Cable is a pure Silver 75ohm digital cable that's perfect for connecting the Rossini Master Clock to audio devices with word clock inputs. Connect it to Streaming DACs, Amplifiers, CD Players, and more. The Silver Dragon is fairly flexible and makes bends fairly easily, but make sure to never kink the cable as it will introduce jitter. The Black Dragon Power Cable is the ultimate power cable designed to be dead quiet and reject all EMI and RFI interference. 4-11Awg Stranded high purity slow drawn Copper conductors are used per cable in a star Quad configuration. The cable has a single 100% coverage shield but can be doubled up for noisy environments plus it is relatively flexible.
The dCS Rossini CD/SACD Transport is a flexible HiFi component with a plethora of digital audio outputs: Three AES/EBU outputs, two of which are dedicated for dual-AES operation for high-resolution PCM and DSD data; and two S/PDIF outputs, one on an RCA jack and the other on a BNC jack. Adding the dCS Rossini Master Clock is a breeze thanks to the Word Clock input and output BNC jacks on the back panel of the Rossini Transport. The Rossini Master Clock will rework any timing errors and jitter so your CDs and SACDs are perfectly played each and every time.
Without a dedicated internal DAC, the Rossini CD/SACD Transport will benefit from the addition of an external DAC and there is no better pairing than the Rossini APEX DAC/Network Streamer. A part of the dCS Rossini series, the Rossini APEX DAC/Network Streamer allows you to play music from online streaming services so you can easily bounce between physical media and digital.
With the Rossini CD/SACD Transport, you can experience stunning sound from CDs or SACDs, upsampling CD data to high-resolution DSD, DSD/128 or DXD for even greater resolution and detail, or playing both CDs and SACDs in their native formats.
