Technics has released a new firmware update for the SL-G700M2 SACD Player & Network Music Player. Make sure to install this update and check out the history of previous firmware updates for your Technics device.

Latest Firmware Version for the Technics SL-G700M2: Version 1.00.08.00 (Updated 02.13.2024)
Amazon Music HD is now available! Listeners can now enjoy the addition of Amazon Music to the list of streaming music services offered by Technics. In order to use this firmware, Technics' dedicated app, "Technics Audio Center" must be updated to the latest version (Ver. 2.5.3 or later).
*Downloading takes approx. 15 minutes. Do not disconnect the AC mains lead or turn this unit to standby while updating. Do not disconnect the USB flash memory while updating.

Update via Internet
- Connect this unit to the network. Make sure that the network is connected to the internet
- Press [NWP]
- Press [SETUP]
- Press [˅, ^] repeatedly to select "F/W Update" and then press [OK]
- Press [˅, ^] to select "Internet" and then press [OK]
- Press [˅, ^] to select "Yes" and then press [OK]
- Press [power symbol] to turn this unit off and on
Update via USB Flash Memory
- Download the latest firmware on the USB flash memory
- Connect the USB flash memory with new firmware
- Press [NWP]
- Press [SETUP]
- Press [˅, ^] repeatedly to select "F/W Update" and then press [OK]
- Press [˅, ^] to select "USB-A Front" and then press [OK]
- Press [˅, ^] to select "Yes" and then press [OK]
- Press [power symbol] to turn this unit off and on
